Overview

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) is a technical standard that provides a set of recommendations for making content on the web more accessible. While building websites and web applications, NSPARC references WCAG 2.0 and aims to conform to all recommendations on the AA level.

Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)

The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a document which evaluates how accessible a particular product is according to the Section 508 Standards. It is a self-disclosing document produced by the vendor which details each aspect of the Section 508 requirements and how the product supports each criteria.

The VPAT contains documentation on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Success Criteria & Conformance Requirements (Levels A, AA).

Note: When reporting on conformance with the WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria, they are scoped for full pages, complete processes, and accessibility-supported ways of using technology as documented in the WCAG 2.0 Conformance Requirements.
