Steven M. Grice, Ph.D.
Interim Executive Director
Steven M. Grice was recently named executive director at Mississippi State University’s National Strategic Planning and Analysis Research Center (NSPARC). Serving as deputy executive director for the past five years, Grice’s responsibilities included overseeing the planning, policy development and analysis, and business development functions within the center; and coordinating the center’s administrative, information technology, security, communication, finance, and policy functions. In his new role, he will continue to oversee these functions among the overall operations of NSPARC.
Grice’s work appears in technical reports, book chapters, policy briefs, and journals such as Demography, Rural Sociology, Society and Natural Resources, Journal of the Community Development Society, Social Science Quarterly, Southern Rural Sociology, Sociological Spectrum, and Journal of Poverty. He earned his doctoral degree in sociology from Mississippi State University.
